Start Your Food Business – Training Course in Kilkenny

With many people exploring the idea of starting food businesses it is good to see a focused food business start up course coming up. It starts on 22nd February and it is being delivered by the Food Industry Training Unit of UCC with the support of the ICOS Skillsnet and Kilkenny Leader Partnership.

6 mornings, free for eligible unemployed (check here for more on that – UPDATED with correct link) and €395 for those who are not. Ouch.

  2. Thanks for the info Keith. I passed it on to someone who might be interested.

Just back from Paris. As always, impressed by the Artisan food shops in France. They seem to have always seen merit in keeping a market for the small bakeries, Patisseries. They seem to live hand in hand better with the supermarkets & Hypermarkets than we do in Ireland.
